The search service can find package by either name (apache), provides(webserver), absolute file names (/usr/bin/apache), binaries (gprof) or shared libraries (libXm.so.2) in standard path. It does not support multiple arguments yet...

Also, this module should generally be used in conjunction with Perl's *crypt()* function, sold separately. The *read_password* function prompts for input, reads a line of text from the keyboard, then returns that line to the caller. The line of text doesn't include the newline character, so there's no need to use *chomp*.
